The vision of Imisebeyelanga Services is to improve the quality of life of people in need, especially those who want to be empowered, trained and serve their community. Imisebeyelanga Services was founded in 2004 when a huge need for trained Home and Community Based Care Workers were brought under the attention of a local private training provider. In 2007, we added programmes such as Early Childhood Development, HIV Peer Education, Breaking the Cycle of Child Abuse and Basic Life Skills. In 2009 we achieved accreditation with Health & Welfare SETA and to date we have trained nearly 2 000 volunteers in the areas of Early Childhood Development, Home Based Care, HIV Peer Education and many others. We offer accredited training for ECD – Further Education and Training Certificate (level 4) and Higher Certificate (level 5). Our ultimate focus is to develop ECD Centres in impoverished areas to become "Schools of Excellence".
